The prophet's advice Beware of a child's bad company The prophet Mohammad (peace & blessing be upon him) said, "the similitude of good company and of bad company is that of the owner of musk and the iron smith blowing bellows.The owner of musk would either offer you free of charge or you would buy it from him or you would smell its pleasant odor;and as for the one who blows the bellows,he would either burn your clothes or you will have to smell its repugnant smell."(narrated by muslim) قال رسول الله محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم :"إنما مثل الجليس الصالح وجليس السوء كحامل المسك ونافخ الكير: فحامل المسك إما أن يجذيك، وإما أن تبتاع منه، وإما أن تجد منه ريحا طيبة؛ ونافخ الكير إما أن يحرق ثيابك، وإما أن تجد ريحا خبيثة.(رواه مسلم) |

The prophet's advice2
The prophet's advice Rules of companionship 1-love for the sake of Allah(to love you friend as long as he obeys Allah,whereas to hate for sake of Allah means to hate him when he turns astray from the way of guidance) The prophet Mohammad (peace & blessing be upon him) said,"don't rush in loving your friend ,as he may turn (into)your enemy one day.And don't rush in hating your enemy ,as he may turn (into)your friend one day."(narrated by tirmidhi) قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: أحبب حبيبك هونا ما عسى أن يكون بغيضك يوما ما و أبغض بغيضك هونا ما عسى أن يكون حبيبك يوما ما (رواه الترمذي) The prophet Mohammad (peace & blessing be upon him) said,"whenever any one of you loves a friend for the sake of Allah,he has to let him know this."(narrated by abu dawood)قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "إذا أحب أحدكم أخاه فليعلمه أنه يحبه"أخرجه أبو داود كتاب الأدب باب الرجل يحب الرجل على خير يراه رقم (5102) " The prophet Mohammad (peace & blessing be upon him) said,"The best friend is the one who helps you at the time you remember Allah and reminds you at the time you forget Him."(Narrated by Ibn Abud Dunya). قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:خير الأصحاب صاحب إذا ذكرت الله تعالى أعانك، وإذا نسيت ذكرك." Again Allah's Messenger (peace & blessing be upon him) said,"the best companion is the one who when you see him you remember Allah,when he talks he adds to your knowledge,and when you see his deeds you remember the Hereafter.")(Narrated by Ibn Abbas).قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:"خير جلسائكم من يذكركم الله رؤيته وزاد في علمكم منطقه وذكركم الآخرة عمله." |

The prophet's advice Rules of companionship 2- Greeting a friend with As-salaami Alaikum The prophet Mohammad (peace & blessing be upon him) said in this con,,,,, "By Him in whose hands is my soul ,you ,,,,l not enter Paradise as long as you do not believe, and you will not believe as long as you do not love one another. should I not direct you to a thing which, if you do, will foster love among you? Give currency to (the practice of greeting one another by saying) As-Salaamu 'alaikum."(Narrated by Muslim). Again a man asked the prophet (peace & blessing be upon him), "What sort of deed or traits of Islam are good?" The Prophet (peace & blessing be upon him)said,"To feed others ,and to greet those whom you know and those whom you do not know."(narrated by Al-Bukhari) The excellence of the one who starts greeting The prophet Mohammad (peace & blessing be upon him) said,"The one who is the most worthy of Allah among people is the one who start to greet them."(Narrated by Abu Dawood) Who should start to greet? The prophet Mohammad (peace & blessing be upon him) said,"the younger greets the older,the passer-by greet the seated,and the small group greet the larger group."(Narredted by Abu Dawood) The prophet Mohammad (peace & blessing be upon him) said,"the rider greets the pedestrian." (Narredted by Abu Dawood) What if two people are separate and meet again? The prophet Mohammad (peace & blessing be upon him) said,"if one of you meet his Muslim brother he must greet him. if a tree, a wall or a rock separates them and then they meet again , he should greet him again." (Narredted by Abu Dawood) Greeting children Anas ibn Malikmthe Prophet's servant,related: the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him)happened to pass by some children who were playing and greeted them. When one leaves a gathering "when any one of you reaches a gathering he must greet the people, and when he leaves he must greet them again. the first one is not more worthy than the latter." (Narredted by Abu Dawood) سأعود لترجمة الاحاديث بعد العيد  ما في وقت هلأتقبل الله طاعتكم |

The prophet's advice Rules of companionship 3- visiting the sick The prophet Mohammad (peace & blessing be upon him) said,"free the captive, feed the hungry and visit the sick."(Narrated by Al-Bukhari) The prophet Mohammad (peace & blessing be upon him) said,"If anyone visit a sick person who is not yet destined to death and says beside him seven times, 'I ask Allah the Great, the Lord of the Mighty Thorne to cure you,'Allah will cure him of that sickness."(Narrated by Abu Dawood). عن ابن عباس عن النبى قال: (( من عاد مريضاً لم يحضر أجله فقال عنده سبع مرار: أسأل الله العظيم رب العرش العظيم أن يشفيك إلا عافاه الله من ذلك المرض))(3)، رواه أبو داود . |

The prophet's advice Endearment of Truthfulness & Caution from Falsehood :Allah’s Messenger (peace & blessing be upon him)said: “Truth leads to piety and piety leads to Paradise. A man persists in speaking the truth till he is recorded with Allah as a truthful man. Falsehood leads to transgression and transgression leads to Hell-fire. A man continues to speak falsehood till he is recorded with Allah as a great liar”. [Al-Bukhari & Muslim] قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم "إن الصدق يهدي إلى البر،وإن البر يهدي إلى الجنة، وإن الرجل ليصدق حتى يكتب عند الله صديقا،وإن الكذب يهدي إلى الفجور، وإن الفجور يهدي إلى النار، وإن الرجل ليكذب حتىيكتب عند الله كذابا" متفق عليه |
